Anden

Profile

Classically trained on violin, cello, and trumpet, the club-centric music of brothers Pete and Tom Cuppernull has supported their rise as one of New York City's breakout progressive house and techno acts. Anden's organic and warm productions have garnered cross-genre support from Pete Tong and Solomun to Above & Beyond and Armin van Buuren, making the brothers one of the most in-demand acts from The Big Apple.

2018 marked a year of immense growth for the duo. They began the year with their genre-defying 'Retrograde', becoming the youngest American signees to Toolroom's progressive arm Zerothree Music in the process. The record grabbed the attention of Danny Howard, who gave it an exclusive premiere to radio audiences on BBC Radio 1. Their followup record 'Fargo' coincided with a slew of bookings across the USA - from Los Angeles, to Miami, to New York - and the duo's 'September' saw back to back spins on Above & Beyond's Group Therapy radio show. Anden rounded out 2018 with the release of their record 'Void' on Solomun's iconic label DIYNAMIC, a track that was a staple in Solomun sets at the end of the year.

Anden shows no signs of slowing down in 2019. The brothers kicked off the year with a guest mix for Above & Beyond's Group Therapy radio show and their well-received vocal single 'Walls' on Zerothree. After teasing an arsenal of IDs in their ABGT mix, the rest of the year looks bright for the Anden brothers...
